Overcome Your Limits: How To Go Beyond Your Potential

Introduction

I have always wanted to push myself, to go beyond my own limits, as if I felt that on the other side, something was waiting for me, like a treasure. It’s like exploring behind the scenes, or discovering an unknown territory. What happens when we push ourselves? What happens when we reach our limits and try to go beyond them? This is what I have always sought deep down, without really realizing it. I thought I would do what society expects: have stable relationships, a house, a dog, a husband, and believe that this is happiness.

The Danger of Comfort

But when you live in ultimate comfort, there’s that little voice inside you telling you to look deeper. When you push yourself, you reach a new territory within yourself, your true self, not the social self. The more you focus on yourself and your projects, the more you have to push beyond your limits, as long as your goals are challenging enough. It’s not about setting small goals that bore you, but about having something challenging enough to make you a little afraid.

The Boredom of Routine

I spent a long time feeling bored, thinking that maybe it was because my field didn’t excite me that much. It wasn’t the field itself that was the problem—it was me. My perception of things was wrong. At first, I thought I was just an artist, and if I learned an art form, that would be my thing. But eventually, after much reflection, I realized that what gave me energy was simply challenging myself enough in a field I already knew, and going beyond.

Hitting Plateaus

We all become comfortable at some point, becoming good at something, then hitting a plateau. Two things can happen: either we progress by setting new goals, or we regress in our progress and become less skilled, or even quit entirely. That’s what happened to my business. I lost the motivation to continue because I hadn’t set high enough goals. But deep down, I’m a very goal-oriented person. I love challenges, I love pushing my limits, and that’s what excites me. I also love sharing my knowledge and expertise, as long as it really speaks to me.

Facing the Reality

I realized I had to stop lying to myself. Often, we lie to ourselves, finding excuses to avoid taking action, not starting a project, or not continuing with something because it bores us or we have other things to do. But if you are truly honest with yourself, there’s something you’re afraid of. The fear of failure for some, and for others, the fear of success. The fear of being different from others. Because if you do things differently from others, they will look at you differently—you can be sure of that.

The Reality of Entrepreneurship

Being a female entrepreneur, even today, isn’t common. And it’s not just women, but anyone who wants to go beyond their limits—it’s not common. I think I am a very driven person, because I like success, but I mainly enjoy testing my limits. I like facing challenges; I also like working hard. These are not values that are highly celebrated today. People mainly focus on relaxation, vacations, and dining out. But working can be the most rewarding thing you can do, if you enjoy it in some way.

Living Authentically

I think most people avoid work because they don’t find fulfillment or meaning in it. The goal is to find work that you enjoy, and if nothing around you seems interesting, create it, like I do. There are no wrong solutions; you have to keep testing until you find what ignites your inner flame. The key is to persevere in a field that you enjoy, and try to maintain long-term goals that motivate and challenge you. That’s how, at least for me, you can have a sense of accomplishment and meaning in your life.

Meaning and Determination

The sense of meaning has always been important to me. Just living a life of enjoyment doesn’t make sense. Living a hedonistic life isn’t fulfilling. You know deep down that something is missing. Neither a dog, nor a partner, nor a house will fill that void. Because only you can fill that void in some way. It takes facing who you are and facing your fears. I, too, often feel afraid. But nothing beats gathering your courage and trying, despite everything.

The Search for Freedom

I think I’m seeking to transcend myself, to transcend my human condition. Humans can go further than they think. We can achieve higher levels, not just of consciousness, but also of knowledge, wisdom, and power. The goal of humans is not to accumulate material wealth, but to become a superhuman, to live freely. This requires effort and work. We’re no longer newborns with bottles, yet many people seem to expect life to be like that. But if you live like this, you haven’t truly lived.

Conclusion

I think this is how a life should be lived. It doesn’t mean you spend your days alone, but when you are goal-oriented, there will be times when you feel alone. That’s just life. You have to detach yourself from the social group to create your projects. It’s a challenge, but you must face it. I’ve decided to face my fears, explore unknown territories, and push myself. I know it takes courage, but it’s the path to an authentic life where you give your best. I have decided to move forward, to challenge myself, and do it with integrity and honesty.

You can do it too.
